On March 3, I presented the “Nail Art Book” thesis concept during my thesis class. Overall idea was well received. I had been tweaking and adjusting my initial thesis idea so many times in the past few weeks that I started getting worried about my status. But since I narrowed down the scope of work and target audience to meet deadlines, I felt more comfortable about my project and where I am going. It was a relief.

Here is a list of feedback I’ve got from class on March 3:

  • How are you building a relationship within your website? Be a fan? Be a guest of your blog?
  • Is there any possibility of sharing how-to movie clips on your website?
  • Front end should have a unique look and feel, given the target audience (mostly young girls). It should be different than generic tools like Twitter and Facebook
  • Ready to go! Looking forward to seeing GUI design
  • Good presentation
  • How are you encouraging people to participate?
  • What are you planning to do for creating a community?
  • Are you using a framework? (Rails, Django, CodeIgnitor, Drupal, PHP/Smarty Templates)
