I ended up playing a puzzle action video game, Katamari Damacy 2, with Ruxy, Jelani and Sonnar yesterday. It was a blast! I had to learn to roll the Ichigo (main character) in the beginning, but I gradually got to know how to make her Katamari bigger. One thing I thought was intriguing was the interpretation and visualization of Japan’s stereotype landscapes including streets, riverside, schools, kids, sweets, kitchen supplies, etc. I had to laugh when I saw a sheet of Shodo(Chinese calligraphy) paper that says “Mother” laid on the middle of street.
I’ve heard from TedB0t that there is a Katamari app for iPhone, which is another blast. I want to try that as well!
